How A Cup of Cute Began
A Cup of Cute began in 2022 with a simple idea: loose-leaf tea deserved a more thoughtful way to steep.
After learning more about the materials used in many traditional tea bags, I started looking for an option that felt better aligned with how I wanted to enjoy tea. I also wanted something that made loose-leaf tea easier—without carrying an infuser, cleaning extra tools, or giving up the charm of a traditional tea bag.
So I created fillable tea bags made from unbleached, plant-based PLA nonwoven fabric—and added illustrated tags because tea time should feel special, too.
What started as a practical solution quickly became something much more fun: a way to bring personality, color, and a little joy to every cup.
